Hamsters

Hamsters are small and need to be handled gently. Hamsters are fun to watch  when they are awake. Hamsters are nocturnal (sleep during the day, awake at night). they need a clean, roomy cage. A wire cage is good for climbing or clear tanks work well too. Plastic cages are fun, cause they have tunnels but they are hard to clean. They have to have bedding on the bottom and bed box to sleep in. A hamsters bathroom has to be cleaned more often. They like to play in and around ladders and tunnels. Hamsters exercise on little a wheel. A pet store would sell all this stuff. They eat fresh cut up vegetables or seeds. Hamsters also need clean water in a hanging water bottle. they need stuff to chew on, if not there teeth will get to long.
